VP, Late Development Team Lead, Oncology

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a VP, Late Development Team Lead, Oncology to play a critical role in the late product lifecycle of pharmaceuticals. The selected candidate will lead the Late Development Team (LDT) in establishing and executing global product strategies, working with various teams to progress products from proof of concept to approval.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional LDT(s) in implementing product strategies from POC to approval.
• Develop global Integrated Product Development Plans for governance approval.
• Mentor team members, provide performance reviews, and ensure team accountability.
• Collaborate with functional heads to confirm roles and nomination of key LDT members.
• Contribute to disease area assessments and other cross-molecule initiatives.

Requirements

• +15 years of global multi-disciplinary drug development experience in pharma/biotech.
• Proven track record in late-stage drug development and regulatory submissions.
• Experience managing collaborations and alliances in drug development.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Education

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
