Wound Care Coordinator - RN

Job Description

Genesis Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse - RN with a focus on wound care to join our team as a Wound Care Coordinator. In this role, you will lead and integrate a comprehensive Skin Health and Wound management program, collaborating with nursing center management to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.

Position Highlights

• Develop and oversee a fully integrated program for skin health and wound management.
• Act as the clinical expert for skin, wound, and incontinent products within the facility.
• Manage durable medical equipment related to wound prevention and treatment.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Completion of Skin Health Team Lead orientation training and Wound Basics within 90 days of hire.
• National accredited wound certification (or commitment to complete within 1 year of hire).
• Experience in incident reporting, clinical charting, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
